I just got back from the Goldstock yearly Labor Day event where Golden folks and their Goldens from across the United States all come together for a special rescue weekend. There are loads of fun activities, swimming being one of the obvious favorites.

Well I'm not sure about this stuff. Water all around, dogs jumping in. I think
I might just stay right here for now. I'm a little scared, but don't tell anyone.

Ok good Auntie Suzanne will walk out with me, and hold onto my
life jacket. I feel much better with her here to support me.

It's my big brother Kramer. Kramer man they just left me out here. What do I do?
You get the balls they throw in the water & take 'em back to them. They really like that!

Hey there, you little brat. It's your big sister Xyla. Why are you wearing that silly
looking jacket? I don't need a jacket to swim like you do. I'm a professional!

I think I am ready to get out of the water now. I want to go run and chase these guys standing
here staring at me. You guys better start running cause I'm pretty fast!

Hey guys, come back. I was just kidding. I can't believe they left me here.
I'll never be able to catch them. I'm soaking wet, and I have this silly jacket.

These photos show Polar and his new little kitty friend. Her name is Gabby and she likes to sleep with him right under his back. leg. If you look in the pictures below, you will see that she is under Polar's leg that is on the pillow!! He doesn't mind at all.

This is the kitten I found walking last week. Of course, we are looking for a home for her. Here she is looking really adorable as she sits on the exam table waiting to be checked out by the vet.
