Dog
Rocks are a 100% Natural Australian product that will save your lawn from those
nasty burn patches that your dog's urine can cause.
We have been simply amazed at how well they have worked on our lawn. Even
skeptical hubby, who is the one with the green thumb in the family, could not
believe it. Unfortunately, Golden Alfie has continued to destroy the lawn for
years, and we thought there would never be a natural remedy. Well, now there is!
Paramagnetic igneous rock increases the properties of Boron, Barium, Manganese and Strontium
while decreasing Tin levels in the water. It filters out impurities from water
such as tin, ammonia and nitrates. These impurities are usually passed out
through urine, and when your grass comes in contact with these elements it is
burned, resulting in a dead, yellow patch on your lawn.

By simply placing contents of a Dog Rocks packet into your dog’s water bowl and
filling it with no more than 2 liters of water, your lawns will start to look
greener and fresher.
Dog Rocks give your four legged friend a cleaner source of
water, while also stopping the cause of those nasty burnt yellow patches on your
lawn. And, without the impurities in the water, they actually help your dog
fertilize your lawn! Laboratory tested, they are safe for your dogs.
One small pack of Dog Rocks is good in one dog's water bowl
for 2 months. One bulk pack of Dog Rocks is good for one dog's bowl for 6 months
or multiple dogs' bowls for 2 months.
Frequently
Asked Questions
1. Is the p/h balance of dog urine related to why it burns grass?
NO, it is not. Raising or lowering the acid of the
urine will have little or no effect on the urine damage to the lawn. Many people
think that by changing the p/h balance of urine it would stop the burning, but
in actual fact it is very dangerous for the p/h balance to be tampered with as
side effects such as crystals forming in bladder or kidneys can occur. Dog Rocks
do not change the p/h balance of water or urine.
2. Why does dog urine burn grass? Dog urine contains a variety of nitrogen compounds. Too much nitrogen will burn
the grass and create yellow patches, but appropriate concentrations of nitrogen
can actually be beneficial to the lawn, which is why you'll often see rings of
thick green grass around the yellow patches. This makes sense, since the main
ingredient in lawn fertilizer is nitrogen.
3. What is it in the dog urine which makes the grass burn?
The main factor is the overload of Nitrates in dog urine. If your dog has a
diet which is high in protein this will increase nitrogen concentration in their
urine since protein breaks down to release nitrogen compounds. Dog Rocks take
the small amount of nitrates in water away so this lowers the nitrate level only
slightly but it is enough for it to be effective. Unfortunately Dog Rocks will
not work if a dog is on a very high protein diet such as raw meat.
4. What is it about the Dog Rock which prevents urine burn from dogs?
The rock itself contains zeolite traces. Zeolite filters out ammonia and
nitrates from water. Zeolite is often used in aquariums to filter out ammonia
and nitrates from the water. By slightly lowering the nitrate level from the
water it means the dog is taking in less nitrogen and less is coming out the
other end, therefore stopping the burn marks. It is only a slight change but
enough in most cases to work.
5.
Where does the rock come from and what makes it so special? The rock comes
from a quarry in Australia that has been operating since the 1890's. No other
rocks in the world have been found with as high a paramagnetic reading, which is
the main ingredient in this particular type of basalt.
6. How long does it take to start to work? It
takes 8 to 10 hours to start working in the water. You won't see any difference
in the rock when it's working. After that initial period of time, it is
immediately effective. While no new burn patches will occur, it won't fix the
old spots. With proper lawn maintenance, you should see vast improvements in 5
weeks.
7. If dogs take the rocks out of the bowl regardless of what is tried, can
they be kept in a container of water, and then the dog's bowl filled from that?
It will work, but not as well as if the rocks are kept in the same bowl the dog
drinks from.
8. Is this an all-natural and eco-friendly product? Yes,
Dog Rocks come right from the ground. And, they are packaged in an natural
recycled, eco-friendly bag.
9. What are the reasons Dog Rocks may not work for a dog? First, if
the dog is fed a high protein or raw diet, this will hinder the productivity of
Dog Rocks. Second, if the dog has more than one drinking source (e.g., pool,
pond, toilet, cat's water bowl), then the effectiveness is greatly diminished.
Finally, Dog Rocks work weight to volume. That is, you use too few rocks per
amount of water or empty the water bowl out without allowing for the 8-10 hour
soaking period, this won't give the rocks a chance to work again.

you. That is what we did. Then, purchase the bulk size for maintenance.
Directions For Use
Remove the rocks from the bag and rinse. Place no more than 2 liters
(about ˝ gallon) of water in your dog's water bowl. Add all the rinsed rocks to your dog's water bowl.
It is important to let the rocks submerge in the water bowl for 10 hours to
become effective.
Replace the Dog Rocks every 2 months (diary sticker is included).
Ensure your dog's water bowl is your dog's main water source. Drinking from
pools, toilets, ponds and hot tubs will hinder the results.
Top up rather than replace the water every day. When replacing the water, do so
when the dog is least likely to consume large amounts, say at night before bed.
That will give you the 8 hours you need to have the water be effective.
PLEASE NOTE: Original Dog Rocks do not alter the pH balance of your dog's urine.
They
are a completely natural product sourced from a reputable quarry in Australia.
Any "fakes" do not come from the same quarry as the company has an exclusive arrangement
with their supplier.
Original Dog Rocks only comes in the recycled brown packaging with the green

product on the market is not the original, and do not have the same lawn-healing
properties. |
