Hevener makes his figurines by hand in his Lancaster
studio. The larger Studio Collection pieces are all
Limited Edition, limited to editions of 100 or 1000,
depending on the type of figurine. They also include
small protective felt pads on the base. The smaller Blue
Ribbon Collection pieces (reasonably priced at no more
than $26.95) are neither numbered or limited in edition,
and their lesser weights do not require padding.
All of the Hevener figurines are hand-cast from Hydro
stone and finished with a durable high-gloss glaze.
Individual pieces may vary slightly in color and
decoration.
As figurines are typically made to order, please allow
up to two weeks for these handmade collectables to be
produced for you. Here, at the Land of PureGold, we are
carrying ALL 68 dog breeds from The Hevener Studio, in
addition to Ron Hevener's cat and horse collectibles.
Figurines ship separately, directly from the Hevener
studio.

I just want
to let you know I received the two Corgis today. They
arrived in wonderful condition and are very lovely, so
much more adorable in person. The Corgis are also some
of the most animated sculptures I have ever purchased.

 Recently, we had a very special request when a young
woman ordered two Corgi Minis. You see, she wanted them
as toppers for her wedding cake, rather than the
standard bride and groom figures.
When we asked about how her parents were handling this
unique 'dog themed' wedding, we got this fun reply:
They cannot understand why we would want our dogs as
part of the wedding, They think they can't handle
themselves. Yes, they are in the wedding as Flower Corg
and Ring Bearer, and they are attending the reception.
They are very excited! . . . Everyone loved the cake
toppers!

 We
think folks are enjoying this page as we had another request related
to a wedding cake. This special February 2011 wedding of Megan and
Richard celebrated some Corgi love.
The Corgi figurines worked
great as cake toppers. Our guests thought it was a great and
unique idea. Thanks for your help in getting the right Corgis
for our cake, they are now happily living on a
bookshelf in our home.
At the moment, we only
have one Corgi, a red and white male named Cephiro, shown here
at the Grand Canyon. We are going to get a second Corgi, we've
just been waiting for things to calm down after the wedding
before dealing with another puppy. We're
 looking
for a tri-color female to keep Cephiro company.
We had an open house at
our home the day after the wedding and Cephiro got to meet all
his new family and see some old friends. Cephiro's such a ball
of energy and fun, he's my best running partner and he's always
ready with a smile when you need one. It was great to capture a
little of his spirit on the wedding cake.
