Luxuriously Soft Bull-hide Fully Twisted Leads
We are dedicated to providing handcrafted quality braided leather products for your dogs. There is no stitching or rivets used as these tend to pop or break long before your lead is worn out.  All of the products are individually crafted with simple hand tools, with no mass production or machinery.

We love the bull-hides as they are more stretchy and springy than the latigos. They are also wonderfully soft and supple right from the beginning. That means there is no working in of the leather, that can takes years of use. It is just immediately luxurious in your hands. 

Our favorite leashes are leather ones that have been used from training classes to walks to whatever. And, the braided ones are the best. But, we never had a bull-hide lead before and cannot believe the difference.

Our Alfie (12½ years of age in this photo) is sporting one of these gems. This particular lead is 3/4" wide x 4' long, in the colors of Sand and Tobacco. It is the perfect length and width for larger dogs. Be sure to click on Alfie to see a supersized view.

However, these Mellow Tanned lightweight leathers are perfect. We pair two at 5/16" and it results in a light fully twisted leather lead for a toy dog. Mendota Rolled English Bridle Leather Collar ― Chestnut
Want to know the perfect leather collar to pair with your new bull-hide twisted lead? Well, it's a handcrafted rolled leather collar. Handcrafted "MADE IN THE USA" construction, using only the finest materials, Mendota ensures premium performance. The highest quality leathers are tanned using the "English Bridle Leather process" for durability, weather resistance and a deep, consistent color. This fully-stitched and beautifully crafted design sports a brass roller buckle and brass D-ring.

By the way, we love rolled leather as it works so nicely with long haired breeds such as Goldens. Be sure to click on the collar to see a supersized version. This collar comes in a 3/4 inch width in the following lengths: 14", 16", 18", 20", 22", and 24".

Mendota Collars are measured from the middle of the buckle to the second adjustment hole from the end of the collar. This allows 2" of adjustment smaller and 1” larger.
